Shipping is the toughest part of this business. For the larger pieces of wood, there is no easy way to do it. It is impossible to turn a profit in this business if we pay shipping. We could double the price of the piece of wood to cover shipment like some sites do, or we can pass onto you our shipping costs. Charging separate for each gives you the option of the much lower price for pick-up orders. So, with that being taken into consideration, we pass our shipping onto the buyer. Shipping for bulky heavy pieces can almost double the price you pay. It is what it is... We are always on the lookout for less expensive ways to ship and we are always open to suggestions. We are located in Kill Devil Hill, North Carolina. For those of you that vacation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we can hold purchased pieces of wood for pick-ups. We do offer delivery service(by the truck & trailer load) for bulk purchases. Shipping prices on web site are based on East Coast Shipping.
